Summer summer summertime
So I've become a little bit obsessed with this playsuit that I've decided I absolutely must own even though I'm sure when I go try it on it will be tiny and therefore not good at all with my tree trunk legs.
But, a girl can dream, and apparently a girl can go all Gok Wan on the H&M website too, so this is how I'd style it up if I was on some kind of mad spending spree. But really, I just want the romper!
However the big news is that H&M are finally launching an online store on September 16th. I'm filled with genuinely wild excitement. Woohoo!

Laduree Smiley
Oh wowee! I lent one of the gallery assistants my book last week, (The Help by Kathryn Stockett) and she bought me a Laduree macaroon to say thank you! I've never had one before and have to say it smells absolutely amazing. I'll see how long until I can hold on before I treat myself.
Sometimes, people are just ace.

Winter White
Living in London, it is often hard to find the inspiration to dress in an interesting manner throughout the winder. The constant grey days and getting up and coming home in the dark, combined with my work wardrobe being soley made up of black separates make for fairly dull times. I've always felt that winter whites were best confined to the apres ski pages in vogue, or the Gap shop windows, but the look above is wearable and cute. I completely adore the mink tights with the grey boots too, and makes me think I need to pop back into New Look to pick up these cuties. Although i should probably start wearing my authotics to work at all times, to avoid the hideous numbness I'm currently crippled with. Flat feet, what a treat!

Just like a circus.
A taster of my outfit from last night for a circus themed party. I was burleque, and went out with rollers in my hair after watching a tutorial on youtube on how to create 'victory rolls', and my corset. A highlight of the evening was being introduced to the hostesses parents, and having to talk to them with my arms over my nipples, so as to hide the tassles in case they caused offence! All good fun!

Happy Two Thousand and Ten
This year I fully intend to get myself a new 'proper' job. Which will mean I will hopefully have many more pennies to spend on fabulous things. So clearly I'll be needing something to hold them in. Particularly as I managed to pull the zip off my purse about a month ago and have been searching for its replacement ever since. A harder task than you might imagine, since I'm apparently very fussy about how I want to cart around my dollar. This little coin purse looks great, as its made entirely of leather, and apparently is big enough to fit in cards, but also small enough to fit in your pocket. A must, since I've never been a full on wallet girl.
You can buy me one online at Pret a Portobello (which has a lovely little sale on now too).
